Prince Of Peace Word Fellowship Church recently held the annual Black History program on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 7:00pm. The encouraging guest speaker was Malcolm Alexander, Division Fire Chief with the Jackson Fire Department. He shared some inspiring words with our youth and expressed the importance of knowing our black history and the need to appreciate the freedoms we have as a result of the struggles in our history. The program also included a skit that re-enacted the March from Selma, Al to Montgomery, Al which was led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The part of Dr. King was played by our very own, Dedrick McNair. The freedom bells were truly ringing this night! Everyone enjoyed themselves. We are inviting you all to come and join us for the finale on Sunday, February 28th starting at 9:30am. Expect more skits and even greater excitement.
